Sheffield vs Crystal 18.08.2019 – Premier League

Premier League / Sheffield United vs Crystal Palace – Each team had started the new season with a draw and they should be satisfied the results. New Premier League member Sheffield had pulled off a draw 1-1 with an equaliser scored in the very finish of match, while Crystal Palace played at home a goalless draw with Everton. The two teams met the last time in the Championship 2011 and then Crystal Palace won by 1-0.

Game Sheffield United vs Crystal Palace begins 18.08.2019 at 15:00 CET

Sheffield United

Given that Sheffield is returnee to the strongest football league in England after 12-year long absence, their fans must be more than satisfied with a draw in the first round. They played in Bournemouth and were on verge of defeat since they were losing 1-0 two minutes before the end. Reservist Sharp, who came off the bench six minutes earlier, scored then a goal worth one point. Out of newcomers Robinson was the starter, and Henderson was at the goal. We expect now Freeman in the midfield and the last arrived reinforcement McBurnie's in the top of the attack. The good news is there are no injured players.

Probable lineups Sheffield United: Henderson – Basham, Egan, O'Connell – Baldock, Freeman, Norwood, Fleck, Stevens – McBurnie, Robinson

Crystal Palace

A solid start of the season for Crystal Palace given they drew with Everton in the first round. They played at home, however, the rival is very strong and those 0-0 shouldn’t be reason for disappointment, although they might be sorry for not using better one player more in the last 15 minutes. Wan-Bissaku left the team this summer and that was the most important departure, but J. Ayew arrived and he played from the first minute. He was also the only newcomer in the starting line-up, given that two midfielders, Camarasa and McCarthy, arrived a bit later. Now, experienced newcomer Cahill could play a stopper, and maybe Zaha plays instead of J. Ayew.

Probable lineups Crystal Palace: Guaita – Ward, Cahill, Dann, van Aanholt – Townsend, McArthur, Milivojevic, M. Meyer – Zaha, Benteke

Betting Pick: Sheffield vs Crystal

Sheffield had pulled off a point in the first round and that is a great encouragement for its players but now they will play a bit different role and perhaps even dominate. Crystal Palace is a tough opponent and we expect to finish the match undefeated.
