Portland Trail Blazers vs Golden State Warriors / NBA – The Warriors literally destroy the Trail Blazers in last two quarters. That was the case in Game 3 when the reigning champions again turned the result up-side down and won the game in its finish. In that way the Warriors are just one step away from the fifth consecutive NBA final. If Portland wants to extend the series it must win this game.

Portland Trail Blazers
Portland again had a great advantage after first two quarters (+13) but then came downfall at the beginning of Q3, and the home team lost the second half of game 33-57. The Trail Blazers are now at -3 in the series and are aware that must win Game 4 if they want to extend the series, or in other words to return it to Oakland. They are also aware that no other team has managed to win the series in which it lost first three games (only three teams managed to come from 0-3 to 33 but they all lost Game 7).
The last defeat extended their losing streak against the Warriors in play-offs to nine games. Lillard shows signs of exhaustion and perhaps now comes to surface something we wrote about earlier, which is that Lillard and McCollum don’t have adequate support from their teammates and consequently have to spend so much time on the court, meaning fatigue was inevitable at some point. Lillard scored 19 points in Game 4 (with weak shooting 5/18) while McCollum scored 23. Leonard had replaced Kanter in the starting five and played a solid game (16 points).
Probable lineups Portland Trail Blazers: Lillard, McCollum, Aminu, Harkless, Kanter (Leonard)
Golden State Warriors
The Warriors finished the first half with -18 but they didn’t surrender. They won after a brilliant recovery in last two quarters, which put them one step closer to the new NBA final. As the things stand now Durant and Cousins need not to return on the court as it is better for them to get additional recovery time, since Curry and Green play phenomenally. Curry scored 36 points, which was his average in first three game with Portland.
According to coach Kerr, Green had perhaps played the best play-off game in his career. He made his 7th triple-double in play-offs (20 points, 13 rebounds, 12 assists, 4 steals and 1 block), and on top of it he smashed Portland defence. There is concern about Iguodala injury, who is not certain for next couple of games. Young centre Jones debuted in the first five but after just three minutes on the court he run into problems with personal fouls.
Probable lineups Golden State Warriors: Curry, Thompson, Iguodala (Livingston), Green, Bogut (Jones)
Portland Trail Blazers vs Golden State Warriors PICK
The Warriors play like in trance and it seems that want to prove everyone that can win the title without Durant. Last two quarters of Game 3 showed their true strength and will to reach the NBA final. Portland has no more room for mistake and knows what it must do (if they are actually capable to do so), which is why Game 4 should be open and by that efficient one.
