Phoenix Suns vs Sacramento Kings 05.12.2018 – NBA

Phoenix Suns vs Sacramento Kings / NBA – We expected that Phoenix will make a progress this season, especially after young centre Ayton joined the team but for the time being it didn’t materialise. The Suns won just three home matches out of 11 played and their guests are the Kings, whose away score is 5-6, which is better compared to the previous season.

Phoenix Suns vs Sacramento Kings begins 05.12.2018 at 03:00 CET

Phoenix Suns

Phoenix is not mature enough to join the race for the play-off but its fans did hope for a better season. Right now the situation looks pretty bad, regardless that they have excellent shooter Booker and perspective young centre Ayton. New coach, Kokoskov, who won the European Championship with Slovenian national team and is the first European coach in the NBA cannot find the right solution to improve performances of his team. The Suns won just four games out of 23 played, and before facing the Kings they lost five games in a row.

Booker’s injury is even bigger problem. He got injured in the last game with the Lakers and it is not certain will he be ready for match with the Kings. Booker is by far the best scorer (24.5 pts), while the team’s second shooter T.J. Warren has problem with injury. Ayont averages 16.5 pts and 10.2 rebounds, and many basketball fans see player similar to the 76ers centre Embiid. Ariza still hasn’t proven himself (9.7 pts), while one of best sixth players in the league Crawford is far from being in good shape.

Probable lineups Phoenix Suns: Booker (Okobo), Jackson, Ariza, Bridges (Warren), Ayton

Sacramento Kings

The King put an end to three-game losing streak with victory over Indiana and right now their score is 11-11. The victory suppressed rumours about feud between head coach Joerger and certain people in the club management (Joerger chased away deputy general manager of the club from training) but it is still questionable will he keep his job by the end of year. We have said earlier that the Kings have several excellent young players and the season shows they are developing in the right direction, but it is possible that certain changes take place in the coming days.

The Kings are interested for the Wizards small forward Otto Porter but it is not known yet what they would offer for him (Shumpert is allegedly one of candidates). Their frontcourt is much stronger with return of Bogdanovic (he scored 20+ points in last three games), while his teammate centre Cauley-Stein plays excellently. Young guard Fox also made progress, and Hield successfully play his role in the backcourt. Rookie Bagley III had skipped the last game due to back injury, and the Kings see good future for him.

Probable lineups Sacramento Kings: Hiled, Fox, Shumpert, Bjelica, Cauley-Stein

Phoenix Suns vs Sacramento Kings PICK

The Kings have more efficient attach than the Suns but their defence is quite weaker. That is in general the Kings drawback this season (they receive almost 118 pts per game). If Booker and Warren don’t play the Kings will have much easier job, who are anyway favourites to win.

Pick: Sacramento -6.5 points

Stake: 6/10

Odds: 1.95 at pinnacle (down to 1.83 can be played)
