Milwaukee Bucks vs Detroit Pistons 07.12.2017 – NBA

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Detroit Pistons / NBA – The Bucks and Pistons meet for the third time this season and both previous were won by home team. The Pistons did it the first time 105-96, but the Bucks revenged in the following game 99-95. This game comes for the home team after defeat by Boston, while the Pistons lost three previous games. Begins 07.12.2017 – 02:00 CET

Milwaukee Bucks

Despite Antetokounpo’s 40 points and four other players with double-digit number of points Boston couldn’t win Boston. The Bucks lost the away game by 11-point difference. That put an end to Milwaukee three-game winning streak with which they moved to group of teams that have positive win/loss ratio (12-10). Regarding home games, till this moment they have six wins out of 10 games, and one of them was against the Pistons. In that game Middleton was their best scorer with 27 points, but it should be stressed that they played excellent defence in which they had 16 blocks as a team.

The Bucks are still incomplete, and besides from before injured Parker out of action are Teletovic and Dellavedova (neither of them played in victory over the Pistons). The Bucks don’t excel in rebounds and there is no weaker team in this category in the NBA. Now, they will face the best rebounder in the league, Drummond, and in both previous games they didn’t have more rebounds than the Pistons. Besides, they cannot only rely on Antetokounpo (game with Boston showed that clearly) and instead others have to play at top level, just like in their first match and victory over the Pistons.

Probable lineups Milwaukee Bucks: Bledsoe, Snell, Middleton, Antetokounmpo, Henson

Detroit Pistons

Detroit is still positioned around the top of Eastern Conference but they spoiled the impression with last three defeats. They have now 14 wins and 9 losses, while their away win/loss score is 6-7. The Pistons go to Milwaukee after losing to the Wizards, 76ers and Spurs and this game will be fourth on tour in a row. This season the Pistons prefer for opponents teams from the West as they lost just two out of eight in total, while against teams from the East their score is 8-7. However, regardless of one defeat by the Bucks it can be said that they can handle the next opponent.

They lost the game by just three points but their shooting from the field was catastrophic and on top of it they were blocked 16 times. So, with a bit of improvement it is not impossible to win this away game. Now, it is their psychological preparedness that is questionable after three consecutive defeats. Drummond is the best player who in 23 so far played games had even 17 double-doubles (although as a team the Pistons are not particularly strong rebounders, just 23rd in the league). It is interesting that coach Van Gandy needs just two wins to reach 500 wins as NBA coach.

Probable lineups Detroit Pistons: Bradley, Jackson, Harris, Tolliver, Drummond

Milwaukee Bucks – Detroit Pistons PICK

In two previous head-to-head home teams were those who triumphed but the Pistons were far closer to win away than the Bucks. We have said before that if they improve shooting from the field and prevent passed toward Antetokounmpo the Pistons can again bring the match to uncertain finish.
