Game Italy vs. Poland begins 19.06.2019 at 21:00 CET
Italy had a very difficult task at the opening of the championship since it faced Spain. Matches between the two national teams are always tense and this one was no exception in which the Italians received a goal early on, which naturally increased the pressure on the team. They managed to shake it off and they turned the result up-side down, mostly thanks to very good Chiesi, who scored two goals. Stopper Bonifaci and midfielder Mandragora were surprises in the team. The biggest loss from the first match was midfielder Zaniola who got injured and is questionable for match with Poland. Orsoline might replace him, and perhpas Pezzella might play at the left flank.
Probable lineups Italy: Meret – Calabresi, Bonifazi, Mancini, Pezzella – Barella, Mandragora, Pellegrini – Orsolini, M. Kean, Chiesa
No one gave much chance to Poland given very strong competition in the Group A, however, the situation for them is far more favourable now. Of course, they have nothing in their hands for sure as they have yet to face two big favourites, but the pressure is smaller having three points on the account. Similar like the hosts, Poland was first to receive a goal in match with Belgium and then it seemed that the only question is with how big goal difference they will lose. Still, the Poles pulled themselves together and with all three goals they turned the tide although they received the second goal six minutes before the end. Fila at the right flank and Jagiello in the midfield were surprises in the team, which will stay the same for match with the Italians.
Probable lineups Poland: Grabara – Fila, Wieteska, Bielik, Pestka – Zurkowski, Dziczek, Jagiello – Michalak, Kownacki, Szymanski
Betting Pick: Italy vs. Poland
Both teams have three points and now will seek to earn three new to verify a place for themselves in the semi-finals. Italy is better team and, what is more important, will play at home. Poland already gave its maximum in the first round and can hardly repeat the success in this match.
