Bosnia-Herzegovina vs Greece / European Qualifiers EURO 2020 – Two old rivals again share the group and given strength of other it is quite realistic that the two teams will fight for the second place. Italy is the favourite to win the first one and BiH and Greece are right behind it, so the match is quite important for both of them. BiH defeated Armenia at home in the first round but only after a fair deal of trouble, while Greece won Lichtenstein away, although they didn’t exactly make a name for themselves. Out of eight qualifiers played before BiH won just one, while Greece won four such matches.
Bosnia-Herzegovina vs Greece begins 26.03.2019 at 20:45 CET
Bosnia and Herzegovina continues with positive series that started in the Nations League in qualification for the Euro 2020. In the Nations League it was undefeated after four matches out of which it won three and drew one, which as sufficient for the first place in the group. After that BiH lost friendly to Spain 1-0 despite good game. The defeat ended Bosnia undefeated streak but the Bosnians won in the first round of Euro 2020 qualifications.
It must be said that was an expected victory given who was the opponent, although Armenia played better than expected. Bosnia dominated the first half and took the lead thanks to Krunic, but Armenia was not without chances in the second half. Reservist Milosevic resolved all dilemma 10 minutes before the end but Bosnia received a goal in the very finish of match. Saris is questionable due to inures, Koljic is definitely out of action but Kolasinac will play for sure.
Probable lineups Bosnia-Herzegovina: Sehic – Todorovic, Bicakcic, Zukanovic, Kolasinac – Besic, Krunic – Visca, Pjanic, Gojak – Dzeko
Unlike the home team the Greeks weren’t successful in the Nations League despite being regarded as favourites in the group shared with Finland, Hungary and Estonia. At the end they failed to win the first place despite three victories that, interestingly enough all were won by 1-0. Greece won each of its rivals by once but it also lost to each of them, where home defeat by Estonia was especially painful. In the last year Greece played nine matches and it drew none of them since defeats come after victories.
The series started with winning friendly with Egypt and is currently stopped at victory, which is far more important. The Greeks started the qualifications for Euro 2020 with triumph in Lichtenstein 2-0. Again, it wasn’t a brilliantly played match and they cracked the outsider’s armour only at the end of first half, while reservist Donis set the final score 10 minutes before the end. Greece played without two standard stoppers; Manolas and Sokratis, where the latter could be ready for match with BiH. On the other hand, forward Mitroglou is injured and he will not play for sure, which is definitely a great handicap.
Probable lineups Greece: Vlachodimos – Bakakis, Siovas, Sokratis, Koutris – Samaris, Kourbelis – Fortounis, Zeca, Basaketas – Donis

Both teams expectedly won in the first round but neither dominated. This match is a direct clash in the battle for the second place and quite surely neither team will rush to attack. The Greeks are anyway averse of doing go, as they are known for strong defence, which is why we forecast match with few goals.
